Dirigo Custom Structures joins Bath Regional Vocational Center in a Modular Home Building Project
The vocational program is funded by the Bath Rotary Club. Dirigo Custom Structures provides the students an opportunity to learn with professionals. The end result is a full turn-key home package for the consumer.
Dirigo Structures administers support to the project in the following ways:
- We recently sponsored a student at the Skills USA Maine statewide competition in March, 2014.
- We assist with recommending construction and design improvements of the units.
- We transport the modular units to the final building site.
- We install the modules on the foundation and complete the assembly.
- We offer assistance to the purchaser of the unit. We provide a full turn-key home package to the buyer. This includes site work, foundation, and completion of the home and all utilities.
Bath Regional Vocational Center is located in Bath, ME. Vocational schools are public schools that offer instruction in skilled trades such as mechanics, carpentry, plumbing, and construction in order to provide practical experience and job training. Vocational schools are usually at the secondary, or high school, level.
